I had put off updating the latest theme and cornerstone update
now i see there is a wordpress update as well in my dashboard
now which should i do first ?
wordpress update and then theme update or
theme update, cornerstone and then wordpress?
one more question
i have a plugin - simple custom css installed
can i delete that and put in whatever was there in to the global css in your theme options and delete the plugin
does it do the same job ?

Thank you for writing in, you can do it in any order as long as you clear all caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. Though I would advise updating in this order (WordPress > Theme > Cornerstone > Plugins)
Yes technically it does the same job, so you can move your custom CSS on the Theme Options > CSS.
Remeber to clear your caching plugins (if any) after updating.
