Update Pro to latest version - possible?

We have 2 websites with Pro - version 2.5.5

Urban farming - horticulture LED lighting for vertical farming

They have several plugins and are multi-langual with WPML.
I would like to update them to the newst version Pro (3.04). In another website I saw the advantages of the new Pro (Flex box etc) and I love it!

Could you advice us if it is already possible to upgrade? Concidering all the troubles we had with WPML plugin in Pro at the start, I am very cautious. The website can loose its multilanguality (is that a word??) when there is a conflict.

The WordPress version 5.2.3 and 5.2.4 are installed for those websites.

I could really need advise :
1) If it has been tested with WPML / do people have experiences already?
2) Which steps I can take best.

Hey There,

It’s always recommended to first test updates on a staging environment to see if anything breaks. Every setup and installation is unique and there can be cross combinations that lead to issues so it’s hard for us to say that an update will not cause any issues for you. We try to test new updates in detail and use different combinations of setups still there is an infinite amount of possible combinations so as recommended I would setup a staging / dev environment and try updating there first and if you experience any issues feel free to reach out to us here so we can help you resolving them.
