Update of separate Cornerstone plugin?

Hi

We have been using the Cornerstone plugin available from here https://codecanyon.net/item/cornerstone-the-wordpress-page-builder/15518868. According to Envato that’s currently at 2.1.7. We have built +20 custom Cornerstone elements for a client… and now we suddenly have the new Cornerstone 3.0.

  1. Is it possible to upgrade from Cornerstone 2.1.7 (standalone) to Cornerstone 3.0?
  2. Will the custom elements be available in the 3.0?
  3. Have you an online guide for building proper custom elements for 3.0?

HI there,

You should be able to update manually without any problem but it would be best to backup your site before doing the update.

The custom elements should remain intact when you upgrade as long as you coded them as a separate plugin.

We currently do not have the guide on how to create custom v2 elements but I already noted this for our developers to be aware of this request.
