Update mail poet premium

hi there,

i tried to update the premium plugin that is shipped with x pro but it does not work:

i updated the mailpoet 3 free plugin => ok
i tried updating mail poet3 premium => update package not avauilable. (from Version 3.0.58 to 3.0.59)

now it says:
Your MailPoet Premium plugin is incompatible with the free MailPoet plugin. Register your key or purchase one now to update the Premium to the latest version.

Thanks for writing in!

As of today the supported version of Mailpoet plugin is 3.0.58. We are in the process of testing for compatibility the next version of Mailpoet. Once the compatibility testing is completed, we will release update for customers.

For now I suggest you to use Mailpoet 3.0.58. To do that please deactivate and delete Mailpoet from Plugins > Installed Plugins. After that from Pro > Validation > Extensions click Install button under Mailpoet to instal the supported version of Mailpoet.

when i delete the mailpoet plugin, are my settings and newsletters, subscribers safe?

Hi Harald,

Yes, you should be able to retain the subscribers and settings. You can also, export your subscribers first if you want to keep a backup.
