Update credit card for account

please help, i dont see how to update an expired credit card. and I cant delete it either…

Thanks for reaching out.
You can delete it from your Themeco Account > Billing by following the below steps.

  1. Log in to your Themeco Account.
  2. Click into the Billing menu in the Right Top corner.
  3. Click into the Method tab.
  4. Delete the existing Payment Option.
  5. Then Add a New Payment Option

Thanks. I cant delete the existing option. its being used by a subscription. The new card is exactly the same, with a new expiration date. cant i just update the card?

Hi, checking in on this as my subscription to ONE has expired too, due to the card not being updated. I actually am needing some help through ONE which is when i noticed the issue with the card.

so, can i just update the existing card?? as I said I cant delete the expired card as it is attached to my PRO subscription. Please help asap so I can get my question submitted through ONE.

Hi Riceman,

You are trying to delete the Active payment method, which is not possible. You need to add a New payment method and set that as Active to delete the existing active method.

OK, I must be dense here. I added my same card with a more recent expiration date. But I dont see any way to make this new card the active card. I still get the same message and cannot delete the old card.

I’m sorry, because the subscription was cancelled, you will simply need to checkout again and a new subscription will be created with the new payment details. There’s a window of time where it’s possible to simply update the card, but because the system made multiple attempts with the old details the subscription was fully cancelled. I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused here. Please use the link above to checkout with a new subscription and you will see access to One in your account again. If you don’t see the Beacon right away, you might need to logout and back into your account.

can you then delete the old card for me? It is also attached to the only Active sub i have, the Pro Unlimited. There is no recurring charge on that…but its the only one i have thats active. I need the card deleted because when trying to buy a new ONE sub, i have two cards with the exact same last 4 numbers, and I dont know which one to use as it only shows the last 4…

No problem. We’ve deleted the former payment method.
