Update broke editor and the grid items

Hi,

After a recent update i have been having problems with my site. The x-editor is not working anymore, the content doesent load. Also the Grid plugin is broke on the live site, but the preview is fully functional.
The problem is with the selected projects section, the videos are supposed to play and the text is in the wrong place and size…

How can i fix this?

Hey @motionair,

I see a few potential causes that we first need you to test. Please do the following:

You might want to backup your site first or copy your site to a staging server and do the actions there.

  • Pro and The Grid is not up to date. Please update Pro first and then update The Grid. You might need to deactivate The Grid to see the update notification.
  • You’re using optimization plugins namely Autoptimize and W3 Total Cache. We need to make sure that the issue is not coming from third-parties before we investigate. With this said, please purge the caches of those plugins and deactivate them.
  • Also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

We’ll happily investigate once those actions are done.
