Unwanted BLOG in permalink structure

Hello, I hace seen several posts in the forum but I havent quite found a way to fix this. In the permalink structure I have the word BLOG automatically. Id like to change it or remove it. Can someone please help me?

Hey @erickijimenez,

The permalink is not connected to the theme. It’s a WordPress setting. Please try checking Settings > Permalinks to see if there is a “blog” in your permalink structure. For more details, please see https://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_Permalinks_Screen

Please check Wordpress and Site Address under Settings > General

You could also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hi there,

All Wordpress sites should have the General option but kindly double check if you have the admin access rights to edit those settings.

Fixed it! in case someone ever has this problem. My site is a multisite so I had to fix the permalink structure from the settings of the site in the multi-site menu. That fixed the problem.
