Unvalid PRO licence through WPML

Cheers X-Team,
my problem is that PRO tells me repeatedly that my licence is not valid.

The problem occurs since I have installed WPML with every language on a different tld.

.de I use for german - .com I use for english.

Whenever I re-enter my valid key, shortly after that it’s invalid again.
The key I registered is registered to my main domain, which is .de

To be clear, it is only one wordpress installation, no multisite.

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

You can only validate the purchase key per instance of a site. Which means, the .de and .com domain are a different site. If you wish to make it a single instance of Wordpress, then convert it to a multi site, make the .de as root site and .com as a sub-site. Then validate your purchase key in the root site.

Thanks.

Cheers @Rad,

thanks for reply and sorry for my late answer.

That’s exactly how I did it. I have just one instance.

Root domain is .de

With WPML I chose option “different domains per language”, then routed .com to the wordpress instance also.
Whenever I try to validate my key the message “validated” occurs. There is no other wordpress instance with that key.

What can I do to make this error occuring again and again? Maybe I configured something wrong, but everything beside this error works. So I don’t know where to look for possible errors.
I could not even validate a second key, because I can only insert one key per instance … which seems logical of course

Thank you!

Hi There,

In that case, would you mind sharing your site URL and credentials on a secure note so we can check your setup? Thank you.

No problem. Hopefully I did right with the secure note

Hi There,

I am able to login but I have notice it is not a multisite setup. Please see this: http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/multisite/
What you have is still a single site install wordpress. Did we have a misunderstanding here?

Indeed, we had - see my first post  But maybe I changed terms somewhere making you thinking I have a multisite.

Whatever, I do not understand that the licence had no validation error for the last 3 days. But I’m pretty happy about it, hoping the error has fixed itself.

I’d like to close the ticket for now. Should the error occure again, I will re-open it, if this makes sense.

Best for you

Have a great day!
