Unresponsive after update. Slider Revolution is the culprit

Hello, I am having an issue similar to others on here where after I updated everything Cornerstone no longer loads on my homepage.
I went through all the debug steps. Other pages still load with cornerstone, but they do not have a slider.
I deactivated SR and the builder loads.
I deselected the global load option from a different answer but it doesn’t fix my issue.

Hey @timewarp23,

I checked your home page which contains a slider and Cornerstone works.

Please try clearing your browser’s cache and check if the issue persists?

If the issue is not happening on the home page, please give us the URL of the page having this issue.

Thanks.

So, I used a different browser (firefox) which I have never used for this site and the problem is still occurring for me on the homepage.
When I disabled Slider Revolution the problem went away again.

I don’t have any external caching / CDN right now.

I have also cleared all browser data and caches

I have no browser extensions. I have changed DNS servers. Still no change. The only thing that allows Cornerstone preview to load is deactivating Slider Revolution.

Hello @timewarp23,

Please make sure that the “Include Libraries Globally” option in your slider revolution global settings is disabled.

After that, please clear your browser cache or use private browser mood and test your site again.

We would love to know if this has worked for you. Thank you.

I have “Include Libraries Globally” off as stated in my original post.

This am, without making any changes, the page now loads the cornerstone editor, but the slider’s column is a very tiny sliver as shown in the attached image.

I suppose this is better than nothing?

Also, same in private mode

Hi @timewarp23,

Sorry, but the Cornerstone preview is not supposed to output a preview of the slider. And instead of using the Content Area element to output the slider, please use the Classic Revolution Slider element.

How Slider Revolution is Used Within X or Pro

Cheers!

My question never had anything to do with cornerstone outputting a preview of the slider.
My question was how to fix the fact that cornerstone WOULD NOT LOAD AT ALL with SliderRevolution activated on the page, even after following all the answers from previous users with the same issue.
I had turned off the global setting etc, and ran through all previously mentioned troubleshooting ideas.
This all happened after updating X and plugins.

The problem has resolved, without me changing anything. I can only assume that after setting up Themeco login credentials something was altered / changed. It would be nice to know what that was so moving forward I can make these changes without running in circles on the forum.

Hi @timewarp23,

Sorry about that confusion.

I don’t think my colleagues change anything on your site besides turning On and Off the “Include Libraries Globally” option, it could be a caching or browser-related if the issue resolved on its own.

Thanks,
