Unified Header on 4 separate sites within multi-site install

[bzingler]

Hi there,

We have purchased the X-theme and installed it on the main site of a multi-site install. We would like to be able to carry the header including main navigation across the other sites on the multi-site. Is there a way to do this? Right now only the main site is using x-theme but we would be willing to purchase this for the other sites as well if it would make this possible?

Thanks for your help,

Becky

Hello Becky,

Thanks for writing in! Please understand the X theme along with other WordPress themes works with one to one site only. It means that the theme will only work on the site where it is current being installed. If you have 4 sites using different themes, you will always have different look of those sites. When using multi-site install, each of the site will work independently. They can have a different active theme or could be using the same theme. Each of the site will have its own different set of theme settings even if they are using the same theme. The best you can do is to use the same theme and have the theme settings the same so that you will have exactly the same look like for example, have the same header in all four site.

With what you wanted, it can maybe possible to have the header including main navigation across the other sites on the multi-site with custom development. Please keep in mind that custom development is beyond the scope of our support. We only cater getting your site set up, bug fixes and minor cosmetic changes in your site.

Thank you for your understanding.
