Under construction shows 403

Hi,

When I copy&paste my Xing profile link in the according text box in “under Construction” plug-in and then click update, then I receive a 403 Forbidden error.

If the text box is empty and I click update it all works. It also works for my LinkedIn link. It’s only Xing that causes the 403.

Thanks for writing in.

What’s your Xing profile URL? Maybe it has unwanted data, content, or characters within the URL and it’s being blocked by your hosting’s security.

I recommend contacting your hosting provider and provide detailed information. Your host is the one that triggers the forbidden error.
