The plugin that came included with Theme X, “Under construction”/coming soon doesn’t work anymore on my site?
I have it enabled, but it just doesn’t appear when you’re log logged in?

Hi there,
That is how Under Construction plugins work. It will be the splash page of the site which will restrict the users to see it while you are working on the site but you will see the entire site when you’re logged in since you are a registered/admin user. That way, you will also be able to see the pages of your site when your logged in so that you can work on the site.
Hope this clears up the function of the under construction plugin.

As I mentioned in my thread above, the plugin/under construction page doesn’t appear when you are not logged in as well.
It should appear when it is enabled, for users who are not logged in.
Please advise why it’s not working.

My apologies for the confusion as I thought you meant that the under construction does not appear when you’re logged in.
Your site is displaying the under construction page correctly as it is displaying when I am not logged in. You might need to clear your browser’s cache or try loading the site in Incognito mode.

Great thank you, it’s working now when not logged in.
However, on staging, when you are logged in, the coming soon/under construction page still appears (when logged in). I cannot access the frontend of my site on staging anymore because of this page?
This should only appear when not logged in.

Hi There,
Upon checking your website it seems you are not using Under Construction plugin which comes bundled with X.
Please remove the plugin and re-install it from WP Admin > X

I have the Theme X under construction plugin installed.
This issue keeps appearing both on my staging site, and on my live/prod site.
The under construction page appears before login (correct).
After I log in, and view the frontend of the site, the under construction page is still there!
I cannot see the frontend of my site due to this page.

I have cleared all my cache and also tried in incognito, but the problem persists. Sometimes (e.g. last night), it works fine. And other times, it doesn’t. It varies, which is extremely annoying.

It seems to be a caching issue on your end. Make sure to clear your cache and test again.
