Unable to Upload Media whenever Snippet is activated

Hi,

Whenever Snippet is activated I can’t upload new media. THe following error log was taken by cloudways host support:

And it takes a long time to get the upload new media again, usually having to deactivate the theme file, disable snippet and then start again…

Hi, there!

It seems your Snippet data is coming somehow dirty from the database.

You can try:

  • Open one of the X/Pro -> Snippet and save to override dirty data.
  • Check what data is actually being loaded. The following SQL can show you that:
    SELECT * FROM wp_optionsWHEREoption_name = 'snippet'. You’re supposed to have a serialized value like: a:34:{s:6:"output";a:7: (..MORE CONTENT HERE)... }

To avoid this error temporarily, open the file:

wp-content/plugins/snippet/functions/class-snippet-meta-box.php and before line 416 (the one with array error), put:

if ( !is_array( $data ) ) {
    $value = null;
}
