I can’t seem to upload my featured image for my new page www.launchesguru.com/mont-botanik/. Previous pages no longer shows the thumbnail of featured image in the edit panel as well, only has the link to remove featured image.
This happened also before I upgraded to WP5.3

Thanks for writing in! I have updated all my testing servers and I could not replicate the issue that is happening in your site. This could be caused by a corrupted file or missing files. I would recommend that you re install WordPress. You can do a test for plugin conflict too. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

We’re glad that you’ve found the conflicting plugin. You can try reinstalling it to see if it helps. ACF Pro does not cause such an issue on our end so there must be an underlying issue with your WordPress install and/or server.
You can ask your web host to read the server’s error logs to diagnose deeper issues.
