Unable to update X theme from Wordpress

Hi,

I am trying to update my wordpress x theme from version 5.2.5 to 6.0.4.
The update begins but than I get the following error message in the wp-admin console:
An error occurred while updating X: Could not create directory.
And the upgrade fails.

What am I missing? Please assist.

As you are getting Could not create directory error message, then most probably it’s a file permission issue. Please take a look at following tutorials to set the correct file permission.
