Unable to share blog post?

I’m unable to share the blog post to the right and it doesn’t have any words under the image?

Also, there are slider arrows on the image?

Please assist

Did you edit this post right in Cornerstone? Please keep in mind that the Post Excerpts were dynamically generated from the very first few words in your post contents. Any content wrapped with html, shortcode or with the Cornerstone formatting codes, it will be ignored and stripped off. To resolve your issue, you must insert Manual Excerpts instead. Manual Excerpts are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content that can be used in your theme. Learn more about manual excerpts.

I didn’t create out of corner stone, I was publishing my blogs through the posts tab on wp dashboard…

Should I be publishing my blogs through pages on cornerstone?

I tried looking at the website but it seems that the blog page is not online. As post hasn’t been edited in Cornerstone, can you please put up the blog page so we can take a closer look regarding excerpt?

Hello,

Should I be creating my blogs out of Cornerstone as pages? I’ve read it can be nightmare by doing that…

When I hover over the link I don’t get a permalink symbol?

I’ve been creating them out of posts on the WP dashboard…

I’m also getting this error while trying to go to X and theme options?

Hi Ryan,

It turns out that this post: Is Vitamin D a hormone? is set as a Gallery Post Format. Please edit this post again and change the Post Format to “Standard” because with Gallery Post Format, it will only display an image with no excerpts.

Please let us know if this works out for you.

Hi!

I did what you recommended and now it is not showing the image on the website and only when you open the blog?

I manually copy and pasted the excerpt and it doesn’t show the read more link as well?

Hi Ryan,

Please set a featured image on that post, there is no featured image. When post format is gallery, it will use the gallery as image, and if it’s standard post it will then use the featured image.

And manually added excerpt has no read more, please check this https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/read-more-link-with-excerpts/55359/5 to add one.
