Unable to login to site

Hi there,

So I updated X a bit ago and after trying to login today I get this error:

ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output

and at the top of the webpage it says this:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home4/apexauto/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/functions.php:248) in /home4/apexauto/public_html/wp-login.php on line 422

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home4/apexauto/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/functions.php:248) in /home4/apexauto/public_html/wp-login.php on line 435

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home4/apexauto/public_html/wp-content/themes/x/functions.php:248) in /home4/apexauto/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 920

And reverts me back to the login page without logging in. I need some help with this as these are the reasons I used a theme, this is over my head.

Hi Megan,

Did you add a custom code to the functions.php file of the parent theme?

if so, kindly log in through FTP then go to wp-content/themes/x then remove the custom code you have added to the functions.php file.
