Unable to Install Design Cloud Footer Template

I am using Pro and trying to install the Ravenwood Footer template from Design Cloud. I am getting an error message “Unable to install Ravenwood.” See attached screenshot.

I have read similar posts in the support forum and have already edited my PHP.ini file to increase the memory to 512M as well as increasing the Post Max Size, Execution Time Limit, and Max Upload Size. These changes did not fix the issue.

I have the latest Wordpress and Pro versions, and all plugins are up to date.

Hi Meredith,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I did some tests and it seems like Ravenwood is a specific template which is neither importing as a template nor downloading via Design Cloud. This could be due to security services you might have either on the server side or as a plugin. I was successfully able to install another Footer template without a problem.

Try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If you have any security active on server side, try disabling temporarily and see if this resolves the issue, also clear all caches and deactivate cache plugins and optimization services.

I deactivated all my active plugins, and that resolved the issue–I was able to install Ravenwood. I haven’t gone through the process to determine which plugin was the issue. (Figured I could do that later.)

After I installed it, I reactivated my plugins. Now that the footer template is installed, it should work fine even with the plugins reactivated, right?

Hey Meredith,

Yes if the Ravenwood template is installed successfully then with all of your plugins active it should work fine. one of your plugins is conflicting with the download process of the template only. You can figure this one out later if you face this issue again with any other template.
