Haven’t edited my site for a couple of months.
I recently updated to the latest version of WordPress 4.9.1 and Cornerstone Version 2.1.7. The website (built using Cornerstone x-theme Renew stack) appears to be fine but I have problems when trying to edit in Cornerstone. I cannot edit the text in Classic Feature List Elements as no text editor appears in the sidebar?
Hi There,
Thanks for writing in! Head over to Cornerstone settings (X -> Cornerstone) and make sure that you have selected All Elements
under Content Builder Elements and save the changes.
Hope that helps.
Thank you but I’ve done that and it was already selected. Selected it again to make sure and updated it all but made no difference. Still have only the same sidebar with text just in Content box all crammed up together.
Help!

Hello There,
I have logged in and edited your homepage. I did not encounter any issues at all. I was able to edit a text or the feature list with no problem.
Please clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again.
Please let us know how it goes.
Hi there. Yes I have always been able to edit the title. It’s the bullet list underneath the title you edited that a can’t change without losing the layout.
Thanks
I’ve also cleared my browser cache and am now private browsing mode. Tested site again and still can’t edit bullet list in a text editor. Only option to edit is in small content box which shows the bullet list in a continuous line. Any editing loses the format of each bullet on a separate line???
Hi there,
Could you try it on another computer? I checked and I’m able to edit and save some changes on that page (including the bulleted content).
I did add a dot in the title and added a TEST text under the bulleted text. I also added <br>
to create line breaks between them.
Thanks!
Yes, I see what you’ve done. And yes I can do the same. I didn’t realise that you can put html code into the CONTENT box on the sidebar. I was looking for a Text editor. I can manage now. Thanks for your help.
Kind regards.
Michelle
We are delighted to assist you with this.
