Unable to edit page in Cornerstone after installing WP Super Cache

I’ve installed WP Super Cache and after the installation I’m unable to edit any pages in cornerstone. I keep getting the message

The preview could not load. This is most often related to a plugin conflict or aggressive page cacheing. Checking the developer console for errors could indicate what went wrong.

I’ve disabled caching before going into Cornerstone but can’t find any other way to edit.

Additionally, my homepage no longer has the option to edit in Cornerstone at all - the “edit” under “X” in the top menu is no longer there.

How can I fix this? How can I keep WP-Supercache installed and functional and still be able to edit pages (in cornerstone) on an ongoing basis. Thanks.

Hello @carlosgrider,

Thanks for writing in!

Please be advised that you are not supposed to switched between editors. Page created with Cornerstone should be edited inside Cornerstone only. Editing the page outside of Cornerstone might corrupt the cornerstone data which may not allow you to edit the page back in Cornerstone again.

And by the way, we always advised that Caching are best turn on when you are done building your pages with Cornerstone. If there is a need to edit the page, it is recommended that you temporarily disable the WP Super Cache first before editing the page in Cornerstone to avoid any issues.

Hope this helps.
