Unable to Edit Demo Content

I am unable to edit the demo content using Customizer on my home page.I could do so before.I am unsure how to proceed.Kindly assist.

Hi @wannid,

Thanks for writing in.

As I checked your site, you customizer is working great.

Let us know if you have already fixed it.

Thanks.

I am unable to edit the text/images on the homepage.
How do I do so?-I could do so previously.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in!

Customizer is not for editing content. It’s for setting the layout and color for an entire site.
To edit content you have to use cornerstone or core Wordpress editor. If the page has been done using cornerstone then please use cornerstone to edit the page. If the page is done in WordPress editor please do it there only.

I can see you have done the page using cornerstone but now the content has been corrupted somehow. It may due to forceful edit content via WordPress editor or any plugin which cause the conflict. So you are no more able to edit the content via cornerstone.

I would like to suggest you, please create a new page with same content through cornerstone. After finish, the page assigns it to the home page so that will able to edit the page in future.

Hope this helps!

Thanks

Ok will try this.
How do I make an exact replica of this page?

Hi There,

There is no such trick to make the exact replica. You have to do it using cornerstone elements manually.

Thanks

Thank you.

How to get a copy of the demo then?

Hi there,

You have your home page still there, You can just copy the content from there and the images are still in your media library!

Hope this helps!

I am attempting to do this without much success.
Could you detail this process for me.

I am unable to save the template in cornerstone of my present home page.
Assistance please.

Hi There,

Unfortunately once the page is corrupted there is no going back.

I have uploaded Integrity 1 home page demo template.

You can import using your template manager and add to your Cornerstone and re-build your page from there.

I recommend building another page for now and keeping your home page as it is. That way you can use the home page as a reference while re-building it which will make the process really easy.

Hope it helps

Thanks will try your advice.

You’re welcome.
