Unable to Edit Content Area Modal (Will Not Inspect)

See video. Clicking on existing content area modals on this page will not bring up the inspector to edit it. New bug as of Pro 4.x. Editing all other elements on the page works fine.

Thanks for reaching out.
You can get the option to edit the modal content by clicking on the Content Area Modal option in the left hand. Please find the screenshot taken from your video.

If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks for pointing this out. I was able to edit it that way - but it does seem to be a bug that it doesn’t load the inspector for it when you click on the element as it does for every other element on the page.

You are most welcome. In most cases, a broken HTML code is causing the builder not to be able to open the element inspector. There could also be a JS error that causes this. We’d love to check your page and the element settings. If you wouldn’t mind, please provide us access to the site so we can log in and investigate further.
