Unable to Apply Theme Default Background Color

I am using the Renew Stack on X-Theme Pro.

The main site background color is #ffffff and I appear unable to alter this without resorting to custom CSS.

Whatever colour is set in “Theme Options - Layout And Design - Background Color” the page background remains #ffffff. This appears to have been set by the “renew.css” file and is applied to Classes “.site” and “.x-site”.

Surely the Theme Default settings should override the default stack settings?

Thanks for reaching out.
The background color only works for the Intigrity stack only. For other stacks, you can set the background color from Page Settings or in individual Section.
