Unable to active cornerstone plugin

Hi,

A few days ago we have purchased X-Theme. But now we are facing a problem to activate cornerstone plugin for our website. Whats next?

We’re not quite sure what’s the problem when activating the Cornerstone on your website. That being said, would you mind sharing your admin credentials so that we can check what’s going on? To do that, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP access

Thanks for sharing the login details I went ahead and checked your site dashboard it seems that you are using the older version of PHP(5.6.40) on your server. It is an issue of version compatibility issue I would suggest you please contact your hosting provider to upgrade your server’s PHP version to 7.4 or 7.4+ as per our version compatibility page.

It is also recommended by WordPress as well. Please have a look at this article.

Is that mandatory to update the PHP version? Does that plugin didn’t support the lower version of php?

Hi Sujay,

The WordPress files used the methods of the latest version of PHP and that is why the version needs to be updated the version to at least 7.4.
