Unable to activate cornerstone due to php version

Hi I got this message when i wanted to activate corner stone, my site says unde the health status is running on 5.6.40 php can you help me update to the 7.2 version?

Thanks for writing in! The PHP version can only be changed in your hosting panel. It is best that you contact your Hosting Provider for further assistance. Here’s a letter you can send to your host; copy and paste!

- PHP 7.4 or greater
- MySQL 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB 10.1 or greater
- Nginx or Apache with mod_rewrite module
