hi,
whenever i am editing my protfolio page i am
getting this error - and then i can’t edit the page or add any template - need help please
“Uh oh! No suitable preview area found. This could happen when a third party plugin is overrinding the content area”
i have raised this issue earlier as well - but couldn’t get it sorted -
can anyone help please -

Hello Sachi,

Thanks for asking.

I tried editing couple of pages and Cornerstone is working fine on my end. I suggest you to clear cache and try loading the website again.

Hi Sachi,

Portfolio page is just an intermediate page which loops portfolio items. So you cannot edit your Portfolio page bu default. Once you create a page, you have the option to select the portfolio layout and then it will show all the portfolio items in that page.

Hi Sachi,

Would you mind providing the URL of the page you’re trying to edit? As Darshana said, you can’t edit the page where you assigned the Layout - Portfolio. If you follow that setup then yes, you’ll not able to edit that in cornerstone. It’s meant to display the portfolio items which are auto generated. Cornerstone are only good for pages where you manually create content.

Hello Sachi,

The page https://webbprint.co.uk/dummy-portfolio/ is using Layout - Portfolio page template. This page doesn’t have a content area which is needed by Cornerstone. You cannot edit this page in Cornerstone because this page template will automatically generates portfolio item contents.

If you want to modify some of the elements in the portfolio page, you will have to do it by custom css or by modifying the Layout - Portfolio page templates instead.

its so confusing - i need to update the portfolio contents basically - is there any other way to do that - apart from using the cornerstone - i am not very good at custom css - basically following tutorials and other stuff to going along -

Hi Sachi,

May I know what part of portfolio page you’re trying to edit or change? What you just need to edit and update is the portfolio item page like this https://webbprint.co.uk/what-we-did/demo-have-you-tried-this/ and not this https://webbprint.co.uk/dummy-portfolio/ (main portfolio page, works the same as blog page).
