Currently the brands are listed in alphabetical order in rows. I would like them to be alphabetical in columns. Is this possible and what should the settings be?

It appears not possible with the current grid structure, I tried CSS with flex and not working either. It’s only doable with custom development but I’m not sure how. It’s a very complex one, I recommend contacting a developer for this customization.
