Hello Jay,
Thanks for writing in!
Your menu setup for Industries and Capabilities are different. In Industries, you have parent-child menu items whereas, in Capabilities, you have a parent-child-grandchild relationship.
Industries:
Capabilities:
You cannot simply reduce it because reducing Industries child items will affect the spacing between the Capabilities` child and grandchild menu item spacing.
Hope this makes sense.
Hi Ruenel,
What would be the best solution for this? It does look unbalanced and odd.
Hey Jay,
Try setting a column under the Submenu option of your Industries top level menu. You can do that by opening up UberMenu in Appearance > Menus.
If that doesn’t help, please give us the following info in a Secure Note so we could check your setup because that setup I’ve showed you worked in my test site.
You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.
Thanks.
Hi Christian,
This did not work for me.
Hello Jay,
I have investigated the issue. Yes, @Christian’s suggestion do not work. It only sets the number of columns in the submenu column. What you can do is to edit each of those submenu item and customize the styling to override the submenu item paddings.
I have already started with the * Aerospace & Defense and Agriculture & Horticulture* submenu items.
You will have to continue for the rest of the submenu items.
Best Regards.
Hi Ruenel,
That worked flawlessly. Thanks for the incredible support.
You’re most welcome, Jay!
Hi. Sorry this is still related to the submenus. How can I increase the font size?
Hi Jade,
I’d like to change the submenu font size. The top level font size is not an issue.
Hi Jay,
That should be the Normal Items Font Size and Column Header Font Size setting:
Hope this helps.
Hi Jade,
Thank you very much. This worked very well.
You’re welcome, Jay. Glad your issues are resolved now.
