Ubermenu, not updating to required

Hi, We use Ubermenu and it’s still on 3.2.5.
In the bulk extensions manager, it says we should have at least 3.7.7.
But if you choose for ‘update’ it says, Ubermenu is already on the latest version - but that’s 3.2.5.

Now we have problems with Ubermenu so we have to update is to a better version. But HOW can I update? Just deactivating and activating again will not do the job. Please help!

Hi @MacMartino,

Thanks for reaching out.
It will be very difficult to recognize the reason behind it without investigating it through the Admin Dashboard. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Ok, can do that - but we also run Wordfence. Don’t know how to get you through that, as this needs Authenticator to enter. What’s your suggestion?

Hello @MacMartino,

I would suggest you copy your live website to your staging area. and send your details of the staging server where you need to disable the Wordfence plugin so that we can check it.

Thanks

Hello @MacMartino,

Thanks for sharing the login details I went ahead and checked your site it seems that it was an issue of cache, I purge all the cache from the W3 cache after that updated the UberMenuplugin. Please have a look at your site.

Thanks

That’s weird, I see this:

Hey @MacMartino,

Yes, you are seeing the latest version we have bundled with our theme. We’re glad that my colleague was able to help you with your issue. If you have any other concerns or clarifications regarding our theme features, feel free to open up a new thread.

Thank you.

Uh, sorry I do not understand your help:
So the ‘Ubermenu Update error’ is not an error?

Hi @MacMartino,

If you have installed the bundled version that comes with the theme you will get the updated version of Ubermenu and i.e. 3.7.7 and will not show any errors. But if you have installed it from other sources, you may need to activate the plugin with details it specified.

Thanks
