Ubermenu Layout

Hi,

I am trying to get a specific menu layout with Ubermenu, which mirrors the one in this link: https://www.oka.com/uk/

The top three menu levels are always visible, as is the first submenu of the active top menu item. When the first submenu item is hovered over, a megamenu appears.

I have tried many different things with Ubermenu, but cannot get close. Is such a layout possible with Ubermenu?

A second question is, could this be done with Cornerstone’s Megamenu, and if so, despite it being a single button with a megamenu, could this be used as proper navigation?

Thanks,
Christopher

Hi,

I have made some progress using Ubermenu, but could do with a little help still.

In the below screenshot, I would ideally like the page to load with the first level submenu (box with 1 at top left corner) to be open and displayed and within the bounds of the header bar. The content section below (2 at top left corner of the box) should not be visible until the first level menu is hovered over.

Secondly, I am trying to find a way of getting box 2 to be able to be full width of the container (from below the left edge of the logo to below the logout icon.

Is any of the above possible, please?

With regards to my original post’s second question, could the Cornerstone Mega Menu element be used to create a menu like the above, or is it just intended for standalone uses? If it can be used to build main menus, how would semantics like
and
be used?

Thanks,
Christopher

Hello Christopher,

Thanks for writing in! You can check out these videos first if you want to use the Megamenu element in Cornerstone:

As for the Ubermenu, have you checked out this Fullwidth setting?

Best Regards.
