Uber Menu Serve resources from a consistent URL

Hello,

I see that there are a few threads for this issue with RevSlider but my issue is with Uber menu. All my images used in uber menu are showing as served from different URLs.

https://newwebsite.outsource.co.nz/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Outsource-IT_Local-Community-Support.svg

The first URL shows a double backslash after the uploads folder, however, I have completed a database search for this string and it does not exist.

Native Wordpress menus handle my mobile menu. These images are used in there too.

To test, I have saved the page without the header and footer and retested in GTMetrix. The problem disappeared.

I am only using a caching plugin at this stage and have emptied the cache. That didnt help.

Do you have any ideas on what is causing htis and how I can resolve the issue?

Thanks
Kelly

Hello Kelly,

Thank you for the very detailed post information. Did you have added any custom codes that enables the scrset() function for the Ubermenu? To better assist you with your issue, kindly provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:

Hi ruenel, thank you for the speedy reply. To answer your questions re
scrset()
, I have not. I will send you credentials shortly.

Hi Kelly,

Thank you for the login information. I checked the settings and by changing the image size the problem is fixed. You use SVG images which is the best file extension for such purposes and there will no need for WordPress to use thumbnail size and you can use the full size.

If you use the full-size image, the UberMenu will use a normal source and the problem will not be there. To do so, please go to Appearance > Menus and select the menu in question and click the UberMenu icon for the menu item in question and select the Image tab from the UberMenu settings:

Scroll down to see the Image Size option and select the Full option there and save the settings:

Finally, clear the cache and the double slash problem will go away for that menu item. I performed the action for Our People menu item.

Repeat the steps above for all your menu items.

Thank you.

You are awesome Christopher thank you!
