Uber Menu Integration questions - Fullwidth | Sticky menu | Multiple Menu's on one page

Hi,

We have built an extensive uber menu and we have a few final configuration issues that we would love your help with.

Questions:

  1. Following your advise in our previous post (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/uber-menu-below-header-x-pro/27856) we have been able to place our menu below the X pro headers successfully. However, when doing this our menu is no longer contained and the submenu dropdowns appear fullwidth. We would like to contain the submenu to not display so wide. How can we do this?

  2. On certain product pages we require a second anchor scroll menu so visitors can easily navigate through that particular page. How can we add multiple ‘stacked’ Uber menu’s below the header on both pages that have an x pro header at the top of page, and pages that don’t?

  3. We would like to make our menu’s ‘sticky’ on all pages so they fix at the top of the page when scrolling. We would like to fix both the main menu and the secondary menu on the pages we require an anchor scroll menu on. How can we achieve this?

Notes: We have created a secure note to our page should you need access. We have also reviewed this post (https://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/theme-integration/x) in an attempt to solve this ourselves however their file directories do not align with ours i.e. when we navigate to pro/framework/views/global/ we do not have a _nav-primary.php file in that location.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to hearing from you!

Kind regards,

Hey @duncmoran,

####1. This is because the code provided places the UberMenu in an area without a container and by default, the Submenu is bound to its Menu Bar which spans fullwidth in your case. You can try setting the submenu to Inner Menu Bar Bounds.. Would you mind removing the code for a moment and let us try to solve this without custom coding.

####2. You can only do this with Pro header.

You can add an UberMenu inside a Pro Header by pasting your menu’s UberMenu shortcode to a Content Area element. I’ve edited your header for Page 2 and recorded what I’ve done to demonstrate how it works (see Secure Note). Just ensure your menu’s design is for a horizontal space.

####3. Next, I created a Pro header for your ICT page and replicated what I have done with Page 2 but this time, I duplicated the bar to demonstrate a stacked menu and also made the 2 bars sticky. I’ve recorded what I’ve done also (see Secure Note).

2 and 3 can only be achieved using Pro. Custom development is required if you’re going to use the Classic Header so I’d recommend you use Pro Header for ease of setup and without getting into custom development which is outside the scope of our support.

Hope that helps.
