Uber menu css tweak to get main menu all in 1 line

Hi - i know i rushed - but changed from max mega to Uber mega . . and i like . . only prob . . is i made the menu items as short as possible - and im still getting the red search icon and the red cart icons - on the next lines so they are on the left . .

as i am a 100% experpert in css . . with a phd . . and such… i found this and tried to tweak the CSS . . but in truth i am just an idiot who needs a CSS fix :}}

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for writing in! Upon checking your Themeco account, I could not find any site URL assigned to your license.

Could you please provide us with the site URL, so that we can check and assist you with a possible workaround.

Thanks!

hey …im such an idiot - sorry . . . so im using the x theme - and the website is www.nailcrazy.com :}} big thanks :}

Hi @drew111,

Those red icons aren’t part of Ubermenu, but theme’s menu features and just being pickup by Ubermenu. You can deactivate them in X > Theme Options > Header > Search and X > Theme Options > Woocommerce > NAVBAR MENU.

Thanks!

hi again . . i see - thanks for the info . … im not trying to remove them . . they are going on the next line to the far left and a new line for the other icon . . .

Before - they were on the same line as the main menu - on the right - next to ‘my account’ - ( when i had max mega menu set up ) - so i would just like to ask how i can get those red icons . . on the same line as the rest of the menu - on the right - next to ‘my account’ - thanks . . . .ps before the fix was a simple css tweak . . ( i think to inline . . ) - thanks -a:}

Hi Andrew,

Yes, it might be possible to align those red search and cart, but it will not be an easy CSS.

Those are the standard X menu’s Search and Cart features it is not part of the UberMenu, please follow Rad’s instruction above and deactivate those.

Then add a Search Bar to your menu the UberMenu way (Search Bar).

Unfortunately, UberMenu has no Cart integration feature. What you can do is add a menu item Cart linked to this page https://nailcrazy.com/cart/ and put that under your My Account menu item.

Thank you for understanding,

hey all . . so i did some vidio watching of many of the support videos of uber menu - and i figured out a work around - in case anyone in interested in how to set up the ‘cart’ menu - so you can disable x or woo commerce - and use that - basically you have to create a new menu item - ( which has no link to anywhere ) - and set the icon - in uber to ‘cart’ image - i also set mini button - so that looks great . . then i created another 'custom field ’ - and simply added the ‘short code’ - for the cart . . and it works :}} . . sadly i do not know any 'shot code ’ that will show the number of items . . or the value . . so i can not do like what x and woo commerce can now as well … . but its fine :}} - in case anyone needs help - post a reply here - and i can go into more detail - so thanks for all the help :}}

You’re welcome and thanks for sharing the workaround.

Have a nice day! :slight_smile:
