Uber Menu Advanced Items Problem

Hello support team,

I am having a problem with the uber menu named “SoundShock 2.0”

The advanced menu items that are inserted in the menu appear in the actual menu itself. I have followed the tutorials on uber menu and I seem to be doing everything correctly. Maybe it is not integrated properly? A interference with the theme still?

Here is what the menu is displaying

Not sure how to get rid of the tabs and custom in the menu. Also, it is not displaying as the tabs menu.

When I view the Soundshock 2.0 menu in the uber menu sandbox, everything seems to be working fine.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi there,

I am not sure how you added the menu items and the details of the settings in the Uber Menu. Would you please kindly tell us which UberMenu preset you used and give us the Sandbox of UberMenu link so that we can check and compare between two?

Also, I suggest that you change the theme to something other than Pro to make sure if there is not a conflict between the theme and UberMenu.

Thank you.

Thank you for your reply Christopher!

I am using the “soundshock 2.0” menu: http://www.soundshockaudio.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

Here is the sandbox link: http://www.soundshockaudio.com/?ubermenu-sandbox=_

Also I am not sure what you mean when you say to “change the theme to something other than pro.” Could you please clarify and let me know where I can change this.

Let me know if you need any other information!

Thanks again Christopher!

Hello There,

I was able to logged in and check your menu. I can see that you have added custom menu items with [some text] as the navigation label. If you want not to display [some text] just leave a blank character space instead.

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

Thank for the help RueNel, I am not sure what you mean by blank character space. I tried leaving everything blank but this just deleted the custom menu item

but would this not just create a blank tab then? I would like the menu to look exactly like it does in the sandbox.

I think the theme is some how interfering with uber menu and overriding the styling of it.

How would I make the SoundShock 2.0 menu: http://www.soundshockaudio.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php
look exactly like the one here?

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

I read the conversation and I’m a bit confused too. But the Ubermenu is working without [tab] or [custom] text. I created a test page and test header here http://www.soundshockaudio.com/ubermenu-test/

And the reason it’s not working the way you like is, you didn’t set a skin on your menu. I went ahead and set a skin and it works.

Thanks!

Hey Rad, thanks for the help!

I have the uber menu working on the site now.

I think the problem was is I was not adding it manually in a text in the header. I opened up the header builder added a navigation inline element and assigned a menu.

One thing I would like to ask about the menu. I am having problems resizing the menu.
When I resize the web page to the size in the image, the menu is overlapping with the webpage and I am not sure how to fix this.

Would you have any suggestions on how to change the size of the menu for the size in webpage?

Thank you!

Hi There,

That issue because at that screensize, the space available is not enough to show the menu in just one ROW thus it goes down to second ROW. Try adjusting RESPONSIVE BREAKPOINT.

Hope this helps.

Great! Thanks for the link and thank you all for the help on getting the uber menu for my site up and running! :grinning:

You’re welcome.
