Typing prefix - typed text - suffix line breaks + links

Hello !

I am trying to have line breaks between prefix, typing text and in suffix in typing text. Tried entering an html break in the text but that didn’t work.

My second question, on the same page, is that I want to add links to an email adress and to a phone number . I see there is the possibility to add a link through X theme 's GUI in cornerstone, but that seems to add a link to the whole thing. I guess I can add individual links by modyfing the subheadline content’s html, but is there a way to do it with cornerstone/GUI ?

Here is the under construction page :

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Jerome,

Thanks for writing in!

Please be advised that the Prefix and Suffix of the typing text feature of the Headline will only accept plain text. You cannot insert a line break HTML code.

Do you want to display something like this?

Just duplicate your Headline element 3 times. The 2 headline will have the typing text enabled without the prefix and the suffix.

Hope this makes sense.

Hello Ruenel, yes thanks that makes sense. I duplicated the headline element and it seems to work. However I can’t seem to align the elements (ie same justification to the left). When i align each element to the left, it doesn’t do anything.

Could you also please reply to my second question ?

Thanks in advance !

Hello Jerome,

The alignment is because of your Flexbox setting that you ave set in your Column element settings. It is best that you use a DIV element as a wrapper for your headlines just like this:

For the 2nd question:
You can make use of the Rich Text Editor in your Headline element. Check out this video.

Hope this helps.

Hello Ruenel,

Thanks, that is very helpful ! It has helped me understand the structure of elements.

There was one last thing bugging me, which was that the headline elements always seemed to be shorter than, say, a text element on the same column. But I figured it out be myself : the headline element defaults to a maximum width of 19 em, which I changed to “none” and now it’s all good. Thanks again.

Hi Jerome,

Glad that it helped you and also you are able to figure it out.

Thanks
