Typekit not fetching kit

I’m trying to fetch my Typekit fonts from the X > Fonts setting, but it just says, “Refreshing…” and never actually fetches the fonts. This is the first time I’ve seen this happen, and I suspect it may have something to do with Adobe’s recent changes. What can I do to fix this?

It appears that Adobe no longer requires/allows you to set a domain in the kit settings, this may be what is causing the issue.

Okay, thank you for letting me know. Is there a way for me to be notified when this fix goes live? Currently I am at a halt with my current project because I am reliant on the Typekit integration for the fonts. It’s time-sensitive, so I want to make sure I can resume development as soon as possible.

Is there an ETA for this fix? As I mentioned, my development in X Theme is halted until this issue is resolved, so it would be helpful to know if it’s just a day or two versus a few weeks. I just need to know so I can pursue a different option.

There is no official ETA as of yet, but this is already added to our issue tracker. And maybe it’s not days, depends the complexity of the patch needed.

We’ve released a fix for this issue in today’s update. The problem is that Adobe Fonts recently changed some security settings on their API and requests made directly by our web application were failing. We were able to make some adjustments and perform the API call through the web server (your site). This is more stable in terms of getting a connection to Adobe Fonts, but it could potentially still fail if your server has a firewall that blocks outgoing connections.
