Hi. I have 2 pro licenses that appear to be assigned to the same website. How can I determine which one is real and then use the other on a different site? I could not find the license on the site and can’t risk revoking / adding a new license on the site itself (no longer managing). Thank you.
Hi @CInno,
I’m sorry, there isn’t a way to know for sure without logging into the site - the surefire way would be revoking and reassigning the license. If you’re not managing the site anymore, I’d suggest just picking one and clicking the “unlock” icon next to the license. Then you can email that code to whoever is currently managing the site and let them know they can use it to create a Themeco account for support and updates. They will need to revalidate the site at that point.
Thank you. I did unlock both codes and tried to use each on the other site. Unfortunately both give me the message: “Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”
Since both are assigned to the same url, would changing the url make a difference? I’m not sure how to revoke /reassign from my theme.co license page.
Hi @CInno,
Revoking is only possible if you still have access to the site, but of course, you can re-assign new URL/Domain in your license page by hitting the pencil icon.

Make it empty or assign a new URL, then save it. But again, there is no way we can tell which license is being used by the site. It’s best to contact the new site owner or developer.
And unlocking the license will only allow the transfer to a new Apex/Themeco account. It has no connection with validation. What was suggested is transferring the license code to the new owner of the site to their own Apex/Themeco account. Hence, the remaining license in your account is the one you could use for another site.
Thanks!
