T's & C's Radio Button - Woocommerce Checkout Bug - Pro Theme

Hi,

I’ve noticed a bug and not sure what’s causing it.

This site has a terms and conditions page.

This page is selected in Woocommerce to be used on the checkout where a customer has to agree to the terms and conditions before being allowed to purchase - Fairly standard stuff.

The issue is that when you actually go to the checkout page, it just loads those terms and conditions full screen and no option to proceed from there.

The T’s & C’s should just appear as a radio button with a link on the checkout page.

I think the reason why this may be happening is because I’m using the Woocommerce shortcodes to insert the cart into a pro page builder template in order to control the styling etc.

You can see it working on the original (and very old) live site here > https://www.cheekofit.co.uk/checkout/ - Just add an item and go to the checkout.

On the new staging site here - https://woocommerce-168839-743750.cloudwaysapps.com/ - If you add a product and then go to the checkout it just loads the T’s & C’s page and gets stuck there.

Thanks in advance

Dan

Hi @DannyC

Currently, it’s not recommended to edit WooCommerce reserved pages through the builder due to hook conflict.
I would recommend using standard editor (WordPress editor) for WooCommerce reserved pages.

Hope it helps.

Thanks

Hi Thanks for your help.

I set the pages to the default - no cornerstone

And they now work correctly.

It’s a shame we can’t use the woocommerce shortcodes in Pro for the cart, checkout etc as it would have allowed me to add extra customisation and styling to the pages.

No biggie though, just glad it’s working now.

Thanks

Dan

You’re welcome, Dan. There’s a chance that this might work with the upcoming Layout Builder feature so please stay tuned.

Thanks.
