Trying to upload video as masthead

Hi,

I’m trying to upload a video as masthead, I tried to do it with Slider Revolution but it doesn’t work well. It’s either on a small window seeing youtube if I put it as a second layer directly in the slider, and if I put it as a background, we see a big gray icon before it starts and right after it ends.

I also tried putting it directly in the section with height: 80vh; so it is full screen but then it’s not above the menu…

What do you suggest I do?

I would not necessarily go with youtube though since so far my best result was with putting it directly in the section. But then how would I put the section above the menu (masthead)?

Between the slider revolution and the video directly in the section, considering I make my video with Adobe, what is the best option globally in your opinion?

Thanks for updating the thread.

You can’t change the position of content builder section and display above menu. As you are using Pro Theme, you can header builder and use Revolution Slider shortcode to display slider using Header builder text element.

There is no issues in showing up video directly in section. However, I would prefer (personal preference) Slider Revolution to display videos as it gives greater level of customization options.
