Trying to upgrade X Theme to X Pro and got a critical error message!

Hi, I’ve created a staging site and just tried to change my theme from X Theme to X Pro and got a critical error message! I received an email from WordPress with a Recovery Mode link so I was able to activate X Theme again. Can you let me know how I change from X Theme to X Pro without it causing a critical error please!

I’ll put the URL and login details in a secure note in case you need them.

Hello @core365,

Thanks for writing in! Before activating the Pro theme or the Pro child theme, you have to go to the Plugins section and deactivate the Cornerstone plugin first. Once it is deactivated, you can activate the Pro or Pro child theme.

Please check your site now as the Pro theme is now active.
