Trying to Update X Version 4.4.2 to Latest Version

I am helping a site owner update their web site that I did not create or build. It’s using version 4.4.2 of the theme X and I just purchased a license on Theme Forest. I added the URL and my staging URL http://69.16.236.31/~newwoodshed/ to the account/license and tried to revoke validation in order to reinstate it but nothing is happening via the WP Admin area. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out.

You can also change the URL assigned to each license from within your Themeco account dashboard to automatically validate your website without revoking it from your WordPress admin.

I only have this one license as I was not the creator of the site originally so I didn’t have access to the original license. How do I update the current version or get this new license connected to the site?

Hi Link,

Just add website URL to the location or staging area in your themeco dashboard account. After adding the website to your account then re-validate the website using the new license code.
