Trying to improve my PageSpeed Insights - font problem

I wonder if some clever person could help me with this little issue? I’m being told this ‘Leverage the font-display CSS feature to ensure text is user-visible while webfonts are loading.’ I kind of understand it, but have no idea as to what clever CSS code could fix this issue?

The font in question is ‘fontawesome-webfont.woff’. I’m not even sure what the font is or where it’s being used as I don’t recognise the name.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Hi Stewart,

FontAwesome fonts are the icons that you see on your website just like the social media icons:

There is a setting in X > Theme Options > Miscellaneous > FontAwesome which you can turn off but if you do so, please make sure you are not using any icons on your site because when those settings are disabled, those icons will not be visible.
