After reading the documetnation on custom Maps, I created a custom Google map creating an API key and all. I uploaded a custom marker, and I tried adjusting the percentages to locate it correctly, but I’m not sure they’re working properly. I can’t seem to get the big red marker on target. Any other ways I can get my marker where it needs to be?
Hi @timleblanc,
Thanks for reaching out.
I have tried to check your website, but unfortunately, the coming soon page is activated. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific page where you have added the Google Map.
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
Thanks
While we’re on this subject, is there a quick and easy way I can add a little text field within the bordered fram element, indicating the address of the marker? Something like this:
Hi @timleblanc,
Unfortunately, there is no such option for what you are expecting here. If you still want it, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist on this.
Thanks
What about the initial map marker issue. Anything to report on that front?
Hi @timleblanc,
I have checked your Lat and Long values set to the Marker and while checking the same in the Google Map found that it is pointing to the correct place. I would suggest you check the following URL with the values set for the marker and verify the place.
