Trouble with Element CSS

Hi,
I’m trying to use the Element CSS to style a section. It seems to be working inside the builder in Pro, but when I load the page in a browser, the style isn’t being applied.
Please let me know what’s going on.
Thanks!

Hi,

Do you have any cache plugin installed? Try to clear your plugin cache and browser cache then check again.

I tried it on my test site and it seems to work on the front end.

You can also try adding the height as inline css

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the response.

I’m not using a cache plugin, and I cleared the cache on the browser. Still doesn’t work. It’s still only showing up in the builder, but not in the browser.

I’d like to use the Element CSS and not inline CSS. What else could this be?

Hi There,

Would you mind providing your website details so that we can have a look, what is happening in your setup.

Please provide following information:
Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
    All the best!

Thanks for the response.

Hi @is_33

Looks like the account you have setup isn’t an admin account, please grant admin account privileges to this account so we would be able to check this issue.

Thanks.

Okay, it’s an admin account now.

Hey @is_33,

This usually is caused by syntax errors in the builder especially in the CSS. I checked your Content CSS and your section’s Element CSS and they look ok. Where else have you added some CSS?

Please also save your page as a template and load it in a new test page so you could try removing sections one by one to see if you could filter out broken HTML inside of those sections.

Thanks.

I cleaned up some of the extraneous CSS code as you suggested, and it’s working now. Thanks!

Glad it’s working now.

Cheers!
