Trouble with CornerStone page builder working after XTheme update

Hi There I recieved an email to update the XTheme and I went ahead and did so. I saw that there was a Cornerstone folder in there as well so I installed that too. I have to FTP the updates since our php.ini is set for security reasons. I have noticed that now CornerStone is not working. Wondering if this is an issue with anyone else. It gets stuck and won’t load the page. Windows 7 Operating System?

If you click on the pages on the left side nothing will load.

This is also a multi-site install. X-theme is only running on one of the sites within the multi-site though?

Exact same problem as described, and I also updated via FTP.

Multisite installation, and both websites have the same error.

Emptied the cache and cookies, but still the same problem.

Anyone solved this issue?

Is there any help for this issue yet? With Cornerstone being the page builder that comes with this theme, the theme is kind of useless without it. I guess I will have to switch all the pages to Visual Composer? We were planning to buy X-theme for several other sites but now I am really re-thinking this. This has to be a bug that was introduced with the update?

Hi Becky,

Let’s try basic troubleshooting first. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue persist after that, please share site URL and credentials on a secure note so we can double check.

After you do basic troubleshooting, and the issue persists, please do open a new thread. Then state that you have done basic troubleshooting already and on a secure note, share site URL and credentials too. Secure note content is visible on the original poster so it is important not to share on this thread.

I found a conflict with the WP RSS Aggregator plugin that I had activated in the site. This plugin was not causing an issue prior to the update but once the update was installed it caused the issue. You may want to look and see if you are using this plugin . There are plenty of RSS plugins out there so it shouldn’t be difficult to find a replacement.

I can also confirm that when WP RSS Aggregator plugin is active, it breaks Cornerstone. We’d love to know which plugin has work for you so that we can share it to other users as well.

In my case, Slider Revolution breaks Cornerstone and also I won’t be able to launch X either, only spinning wheel spins forever. I don’t have any other plugins installed yet except Smooth Scroll and now when I uninstalled Slider Revolution, everything works but instantle after re-installing it, Cornerstone (or X) won’t launch.

Thanks for updating this thread. Is ravxntolapxkkutuhtx.fx the site in questioned? I have logged to your site and I cannot replicate any issues at all. The X > Launch is loading and I can edit a page in Cornerstone too! You must have been experiencing browsing caching issue. Please clear your browser cache or use private browsing mode and test your site again.
