Trouble building pages based on demo content

Hi.

I have a great deal of experience with Bridge, Enfold, and Avada themes. I wanted to try X because it has grown in popularity and seemed to have a lot of features my clients might like.

It doesn’t seem as intuitive as the other themes in building in elements that are shown in their demo like a simple separator with text or such.

Namely, I am trying to build out the Services section like seen in this X demo:

I would think it would be as intuitive as the other themes. Can someone help?

Hi Kim,

To build that page, try this:
1.) Add a section.
2.) Add Classic headline element for Services. Or you can choose V2 Headline element for more options.
3.) Inside this section, add another ROW. This time choose 4 columns. Inside each column, add Feature Headline element.
4.) Add another ROW, choose 2 columns. On the left row, add headline element. Note that on this demo page are using classic elements only. You may choose to use V2 elements for more flexibility. Although, not all classic elements have corresponding v2 elements at the moment. Next after the headline add 5 classic SKILL BAR element. On the right column, add another header element, followed by an image.
5.)Add another ROW, choose 3 columns. On each column add classic PROMO IMAGE element.
6.) Add another ROW, choose 2 columns. On the left column add header element followed by text element. On the right column add your contact form. On the page we are using a Contact form7.

I was actually trying to replicate the separator with text that is in this section. Most premium themes have this as a drag and drop element. I assumed X did too since you use it prominently throughout your demos. Is this not the case?

Look at Services on this page. It has a separator running though the word services. I’d like to recreate that.

Hi Kim,

Are you referring to these lines?



These are the Classic Custom Headline’s Accent. Add your Headline text as a Classic Custom Headline element



and then enable the Accent option.



There is also the Line element if you need an independent line element on your content.

If you don’t see the Classic Elements on your end, please navigate to X > Settings > Classic Elements and make sure the elements that you need are enabled.
