Hi there,
The menu items don’t have a solid background when I reduce the screen size and the burger menu is in the use. These need to have a white background with green text and not take up the whole width of the page.

For that, you need custom CSS code. Please try this in your X-Theme Options -> CSS and let us know if that helps!
