Translation Documentaion sucks

Hey guys, I want to have a multilingual page, and I do not care for the English language in the backend I just want to have the front end text translated and your documentation does not explain that at all.

Why should I spend hours translating functionality I do not use anyway?

The solution in your documentation just shows how to translate the theme functionality but not the important content.

Some more practical instruction would be appreciated.

Hello @MadanGopal,

Thanks for writing in!

Even if you do not need English language, please be aware that WordPress, X theme and Cornerstone were coded in English. All of the keywords are in English. You will have to translate it using the language files or a 3rd party plugin to make it easier. We have added this documentation to translate the theme because even if you set WordPress in Settings > General > Language into your own language and create a page with the page contents in our own language, there will still be keywords that are in English. We highly recommend that you review the following articles to properly translate the theme:

“The solution in your documentation just shows how to translate the theme functionality but not the important content.”

  • Can you please point out which content is that?

Best Regards.

With content I mean, the actual text the visitors see.

But never mind, I did everything using WPML.

What I wanted to point out is, that the documentation provided does only translate the theme functionality and not the content that is visible on the final product. But most users know english right so the functionality can be well in English.

Hey @MadanGopal,

Your feedback has been noted.

Thanks.
