Translated pages are no longer editable in Cornerstone

Good morning,

I am using the Pro theme with WPML and I have been able to translate my website using Cornerstone, by clicking on the flags that show in the corner of the screen.

I now need to update some of these translations, but when I click the Swedish flag, Cornerstone won’t load the translated version of the page anymore. It says it might be a caching error or a plugin conflict. I’m not using any caching software and I tried disabling all plugins apart from WPML but I still get the error.

Could you help please? I’ll provide more information in a private note.

Hey Antony,

The difference between the pages that work and don’t work is the one that works are translated using the flag icons in Cornerstone and the ones that don’t were translated using WPML’s translation editor. Please see the screenshots in the secure note. For the pages that were translated using the translation editor, you need to do the translation from there.

That is strange none of them were done using that editor. I didn’t even know that was there.

I see. In this case, I’ll post this in our issue tracker so our development team would be made aware of this situation once they see the report. Would it be ok to use the translation editor for now? You could also revert from a site backup if you have one.

Hi there, thanks for your help so far.

This is definitely a bug. On one of my pages, ‘Fixtures, Results and Tables’, I am unable to access the Swedish version via Cornerstone as reported above and there is nothing relating to it in the Translation Editor. Please see attached screenshot. I need to be able to access the Swedish version of this page please.

Hello There,

Although you have used the latest version of Pro Theme, there are several plugins that is outdated. Please have them updated first including WMPL because most of the time, outdated theme or plugins could create a conflict or issues in the site.
