Is it not possible to translate only the text in the search modal, without having to go to the trouble of translating the whole site ?

Can you give us more information please. When you say translate, that means your site will be available on 2 or more language, correct? Then all other text will be the same and the search modal is the only one were text are translated? Please correct me if I am wrong. If that is the case, we still need to go trough proper translation. Here’s your guide:
It might be possible with just a customization since it is only one element, but that would be outside the scope of our support. Thank you for understanding.
